So much fun! I actually got three batches to grow.
Very Happy with my Results. I have gotten 3 flushes off the Pink Oyster Batch. Each picture is a separate flush. and I have gotten 2 flushes off the Lions Maine. After the second Flush, I taped up the hole in the front of the bag and cut the back of the bag the same way. The third flush came on strong from the back and I may even get a fourth. Happy I tried them.

Easy set up, great directions, Had a GREAT first flush, (pictures) smaller second, a great third, a small fourth, and amazingly, a FIFTH small flush just peaked out one corner!! These mushrooms are incredibly tasty and great with my egg and meat dishes, used within a day or two of harvesting, delicious! More to come! I want to try the Lions Mane next I think!

A little side note, you see how the mushrooms grew thick stems but the caps are small in comparison? That’s an indication that they lacked air circulation. I am guessing that the zippers were closed or the tent was set up somewhere that does not get a lot of air circulation. Mushroom mycelium breathes in Oxygen and produces CO2, just like us, and when they lack O2, the mushroom grows these structures in order to “reach out” for more air. To fix this issue for your next harvest, please make sure that you leave both of the zippers slightly open to allow for air exchange. Also, please avoid placing your kit in closed areas that do not have fresh air circulation. Lion's mane is a very fun one to grow and even more fun to eat! Its sponge like texture makes it absorb marinates and flavours super well, I am sure you will enjoy it. Also, please do not forget to use your discount code for your next order.

We cooked our mushrooms with garlic and onions, it was so yummy! The second batch went on a pizza. Will we have a third one? We are giving it a try. What a great experience to do as a family! Full fruit at day 5! I did have trouble keeping humidity up (middle of winter in SK) but placing a couple of containers of water near by did the trick. I’ve gone though two cycles now and hoping for a third!

As you can see in the picture, you have placed two kits inside the same tent and have the zipper fully closed. If you look inside your humidity tent box, or our FAQs, you will see that we strongly advise against it. We don’t recommend placing more than one kit in each tent due to the fact that the mushroom mycelium breathes in Oxygen and produces carbon dioxide, just like us. And when you place more than one kit in the tent they compete for air and end up “suffocating” which will result in very suboptimal yields, if they produce anything at all. I hope this helps, please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.
Blue oyster ones seem a little slower growing but still looking good. Started the day before the pink oyster. Set ups are really user friendly and easy to use.

Great little kit. The grow tent is helpful to maintain moisture levels and to watch the mushrooms grow. Once I started the fruiting process it grew for about 10 days and then I harvested it. Lots of fun and I’m looking forward to buying another kit.

I had trouble keeping the humidity up at first so it was a slow start but managed to keep it at 70% for the cultivating / spawning. We've had 3 harvests since the pictures were taken, Loved the process my current batch I layed the box down flat so they would grow vertical and it's been a success pretty small batch though. Will definitely be trying the other varieties offered. Great product 👌

I grew this pink oyster kit with my grade three class, and they loved it! Many were brave to try the mushrooms, but liked them more when I fried them up. So far, I'm at my second bloom. Wonderful company. Honest and considerate. They answered all my questions and extremely gracious when I messed up! I'd definitely deal with them again.

I’m onto my third flush now. Still growing great. It was fun for my kids and I to watch the progress each time. We made the mushroom ravioli from a recipe provided. We have also made an amazing spaghetti.

Proper Care Instructions

1.Take Away the designated cut-out area and use asterilizedsharp knife to cut an X on the bag inside.

2.Place your block where ambient light is present but NO direct sunlight with temperatures in the range of 18-26C

3.Spray as needed until Humidity is consistently above 70%(try to avoid spraying directly on the mushrooms)

4.Ensure there isairflowand that there are no obstructions of the vents on the habitat, or any enclosure used.

5.Harvest by firmly holding the cluster from the base and slowlytwistingandpullingit off the substrate.

6.Continue the same care routine for the block and allow 5-12 days for the next flush depending on the strain.
