Very Happy with my Results. I have gotten 3 flushes off the Pink Oyster Batch. Each picture is a separate flush. and I have gotten 2 flushes off the Lions Maine. After the second Flush, I taped up the hole in the front of the bag and cut the back of the bag the same way. The third flush came on strong from the back and I may even get a fourth. Happy I tried them.

Looking at the picture of your Pink Oyster kit, I noticed that it is showing some signs of Oxygen depravation. You see how the mushrooms grew thick stems but the caps are a bit too small in comparison? That’s an indication that they lacked air circulation. I can see that you have the zippers slightly open so I am guessing that either the tents were set up somewhere that does not get a lot of air circulation or the two tents were too close to one another. Mushroom mycelium breathes in Oxygen and produces CO2, just like us, and when they lack O2, the mushroom grows these structures in order to “reach out” for more air. To improve this for your next harvest, please avoid placing your kit in closed areas that do not have fresh air circulation and make sure that they are at least 10-15 inches a part from one another. I get such a kick out of growing mushrooms. It’s fascinating to watch the speed at which they explode and grow and 10/10 on taste factor. I made a stir fry with half of my Lions Mane with coconut cauliflower rice and other veg like broccoli and peppers and garlic -and the last half of the mushroom I cut into mini “steakettes” Their future lies in the frying pan with butter and garlic :)

I hooked up small donut humidifiers in the bags with a timer on them and have now harvested three batches from each type of mushroom. Timer was set for 5 minutes every 3 hours. Plenty of mushrooms!

I have used other kits in the past, but the growth I saw with this kit has been amazing. One of the things that I learned was to use distilled water compared to just regular tap water. The distilled water gave properly formed mushrooms. The only complaint I have with the kit is it is hard to maintain consistent humidity within the grow box because I live in a very dry city.

Yes I fully understand, keeping high humidity can be rather hard during winter! Some humidity fluctuation is normal and your kit can tolerate it because that happens in nature too. To maintain high humidity, please make sure to spray 15-20 pumps on each of the 4 top corners of your humidity tent 2-3 times a day and avoid spraying the opening of your kit directly. If you have a larger spray bottle, that makes it a lot easier. You can also leave a bowl filled with cooled down boiled water inside your tent, that will help to minimize humidity fluctuations in between spray times. Also, if you have a room humidifier I highly recommend leaving it close to your growth set up. Please do not forget to use your discount code for your next order.
The only thing is that the fruiting bodies was busting through the plastic on two of them, on the top. I had plans for them and I had to get it set up right away because of it. I got lots of lions mane. Would consider getting it again.

Yes some kits are "too eager" to grow and do that sometimes, the good part is that all you need to do is to remove that growth with pull/twist motion and treat that kit like a new one! I messed up on the first growth as I was waiting for them to flatten out, and unfortunately they started turning brown and I removed them to start again. This picture is the second growth, which only took about a week, and I'm just about to harvest and see what I get for a third growth.

Made a cream of mushroom soup out of the three oyster crops. Blue oyster only yielded one batch; the others are working on batch 2. Great taste, nice meaty texture.

Easy set up, great directions, Had a GREAT first flush, (pictures) smaller second, a great third, a small fourth, and amazingly, a FIFTH small flush just peaked out one corner!! These mushrooms are incredibly tasty and great with my egg and meat dishes, used within a day or two of harvesting, delicious! More to come! I want to try the Lions Mane next I think!

Got results, even though a total beginner. One set worked fantastic, as seen in the pic. For some reason, the other set didn't do very well, despite both of them being in the same tent, in the same conditions. 3rd harvest, which is great and the shrooms are delicious. A nice experience!

The pink pearl mushroom farm kit is now on its third harvest. It is so cool to watch them grow. They are very beautiful. Quite a conversation piece and the mushrooms are very tasty. I would definitely recommend trying one of these fun kits!

We cooked our mushrooms with garlic and onions, it was so yummy! The second batch went on a pizza. Will we have a third one? We are giving it a try. What a great experience to do as a family! How cool are these?! We ordered two kits that unfortunately got delayed in transit and didn’t arrive on time. To be fair, it was right around Christmas, so shipping was understandably chaotic. I reached out to the team at MiniMushroomFarms, and they immediately sent two replacement kits, which arrived within just a few days. They’ve been so much fun to grow—and absolutely delicious. We’re already on our second flush of Lion’s Mane (we dehydrate ours and grind it into powder), and the Nevada Blue has been amazing in soups and other dishes that we make and freeze. Customer service has been excellent. 1st growth was quick and fruitful. However, I was hoping the kits would continue to produce one, if not two more times. I am unsure if this will happen. The mushrooms taste great, especially the Pink Oyster! I have not tried the Lions Mane yet, but it is growing well and I look forward to its harvest. Full fruit at day 5! I did have trouble keeping humidity up (middle of winter in SK) but placing a couple of containers of water near by did the trick. I’ve gone though two cycles now and hoping for a third!

Bought this mini mushroom farm as a gift for my mother. She has really enjoyed watching them grow. They are quite fascinating! And require very little work on her part. Would have appreciated a little more in the way of instruction; the side of the box doesn’t have much detailed assistance. However, once she figured it out she has enjoyed growing mushrooms for the first time!
